3.00 pm – Treviso Cathedral
Arrival of the casket with the body of saint Pius X, with a welcoming by the Diocese and a greeting by the civic authorities.
5.00 pm
Vespers with the Chapter of the Cathedral; veneration begins.
8.30 pm
Moment of prayer presided over by the Bishop of Treviso, Mons. Michele Tomasi. The Diocesan Pastoral Council, the Presbyteral Council, the Parish Pastoral Councils, and the Council of Pastoral Collaborations are invited.
7.30 am
Holy Mass.
3.00 pm
Celebration for the mandate of catechists on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Diocesan Catechetical Office
4.30 pm
The coffin with the body of the Saint will be taken to Riese Pio X.
6.00 pm – Parish Church of Saint Matthew, Riese Pio X
Welcome and greetings from the parish community
6.30 pm – House where the Saint was born
Greetings from the Municipal Administration.
7 pm – Cendrole Sanctuary
Placement of the coffin with the body of the Saint in the church.
9.30 pm – Cendrole Sanctuary
Prayer vigil of the youths of the Diocese of Treviso, promoted by the Diocesan Pastoral Office for Youth and Missions.
Pilgrims can venerate the body of Saint Pius X according to the following schedule:
8.30 am – Margherita Sanson Primary School – Via Merry del Val – Riese Pio X
Opening of the check-in point and start of reception, information and distribution of the pilgrim’s kit.
9.00 am
Start of the pilgrimage to Cendrole Sanctuary (Curiotto trail)
– Transportation services are available for those who need it
– Refreshments at the halfway mark
– Veneration of the body of Saint Pius X within the Sanctuary; possibility to confess
– On the way back, a visit to the house where Saint Pius X was born
6.00 pm
Closure of the check-in point.
7.00 pm
Pilgrimage closure.

Illuminated procession from the parish church to Cendrole sanctuary enlivened by the various vicariates of the Diocese, with the Rosary and the Litany of the Saints.

– during the Pilgrimage of the Saint, in addition to the house where Pius X was born and the Parish Church, pilgrims will also visit the manger scene that was specially set up and renewed (at the Riese Nursery School) and an exhibition about the sculptor Francesco Sartor (at Barchessa Zorzi)
